Please note: to qualify for Pre-K4, your child must be four by September 1, 2017. To qualify for Kindergarten, your child must be five by September 1, 2017.

Please find the admissions process and requirements below.

1) Visit the School

We encourage all parents / guardians to visit Cornerstone Schools before starting the application process. Admissions tours occur on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9am - 10am. 

2) Submit Application Fee

$35 Per Child (Cash, or Check made payable to Cornerstone Schools of Washington, DC)

3) Complete the Online Application

Click the following button to start Cornerstone's online application. You will create a username and password which will allow you to save your work and return to it if needed, make edits in the future, and stay informed about your application status throughout our admissions process. 

Documents Required to Complete Application:

  • Report Cards for a Minimum of Two Previous School Years
  • Recommendation Forms from Classroom Teacher and Administrator (Provide Email Address)

4) Schedule Placement Exams

Student placement testing is facilitated by our Director of Education and occurs after the above documents are received and reviewed. Please call the main office to schedule your child's testing: 202-575-0027.

5) Schedule a Parent Interview

Parents / guardians are required to meet with the Principal before applicants are accepted.

6)  Schedule a Finance Meeting

SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE. More information is available on the Tuition & Financial Aid page. Please note that all financial arrangements between the family and Cornerstone must be agreed upon before enrollment is considered final.
