Ways to Give
Online giving is a simple and convenient way to support Cornerstone. You can make a one-time gift or set up a recurring donation through our secure platform. Online gifts are charged to your credit card, and you will receive an emailed receipt to keep on file. Give online here.
You may send a one-time or recurring donation by mail. Please make checks payable to "Cornerstone Schools of Washington, DC" and mail your gift to our PO Box address:
Attn: Derrick Max
PO Box 76456
Washington, DC 20013
Cornerstone has a wide variety of needs and sometimes receives support through non-cash gifts. You may have an item you think the school may need, or you can reference our Amazon wish lists to learn more (see below). Cornerstone will issue receipts for in-kind contributions; the value is determined by the donor and his/her tax adviser. Please contact Beth Seo if you have an item that the school may need or would like to learn more.
You can see a list of items Cornerstone Schools needs on our Amazon Wish List.
If you do your giving through a donor advised fund that participates in the DAFDirect system, you can recommend grants from your donor-advised fund directly by using the DAFDirect link here.
COMBINED FEDERAL CAMPAIGN
If you are an employee of a federal government agency, you can give through the Combined Federal Campaign workplace giving program. Our CFC# is 90352.
Donating long-term appreciated securities is an excellent way to invest in Cornerstone and can allow donors to avoid capital gains taxes and receive a charitable income tax-deduction. To learn more about making a stock gift, including our brokerage account information, please contact Derrick Max at firstname.lastname@example.org or 202-575-0027.
TAX-FREE IRA TRANSFER
According the new law signed December 18, 2015, people over age 70 1/2 may give their annual IRA required minimum distribution to a 501(c)3 charity via a tax-free transfer. Please contact your IRA administrator for assistance.
