Please find the admissions process and requirements below.

1) Visit the School

We encourage all parents / guardians to visit Cornerstone Schools before starting the application process.  Please contact Tara Johnson at or by calling 202-575-0027 to schedule a tour.

2) Submit Application Fee

The $35 Per Child application fee may be paid within the online application via credit card. (Payment may be made by cash or check by request only).

3) Complete the Online Application

Click the button below to start Cornerstone's online application. You will create a username and password which will allow you to save your work and return to it if needed, make edits in the future, and stay informed about your application status throughout our admissions process. 

Documents Required to Complete Application:

  • Report Cards for a Minimum of Two Previous School Years

  • Recommendation Forms from Classroom Teacher and Administrator (Provide Email Address)

4) Schedule Placement Exams

Student placement testing is facilitated by our Academic Dean and occurs after the above documents are received and reviewed.

5) Schedule a Parent Interview

Parents / guardians are required to meet with the Assistant Principal before applicants are accepted.

6)  Schedule a Finance Meeting

SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE. More information is available on the Tuition & Financial Aid page. Please note that all financial arrangements between the family and Cornerstone must be agreed upon before enrollment is considered final.
