Meet our Academic Dean, Elizabeth Sallie
Elizabeth Sallie joined Cornerstone in 2015. She serves as our Academic Dean, thinking about K-12 curriculum, instruction, and our student academic experience. Prior to this, she was in the classroom teaching Humanities, Latin, and assorted classes for Upper School. She has worked in other Christian non-profit settings in communications, children’s ministry, and after-school programming. Her favorite things about Cornerstone are being part of a K-Life community where we build relationships that last a lifetime and getting to see students explore faith through building community with one another in and out of the classroom.
Ms. Sallie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Integrated Media from Biola University in 2013, where she spent 4 years in the Torrey Honors College discussing Great Books. She is in the process of studying for her Master’s in Liberal Arts at St. John’s University. In addition to working at Cornerstone, Ms. Sallie loves spending time with friends, biking along the Anacostia, and reading a good book.
